Jones Lang LaSalle adds CornerStone Building, Hanoi to management portfolio in Vietnam

Jones Lang LaSalle has been appointed by VIB–NGT Company Limited to provide property management services for the CornerStone Building in Hanoi, the first new grade A development to launch in Hanoi’s Hoan Kiem inner district since 2009.

Located within Hanoi's Central Business District near major businesses, government agencies and facilities, the CornerStone Building was designed by Archipel (France) and DWP (Australia), and developed by VIB–NGT Co., Ltd. This modern property offers a total net floor area of 25,893 sq m of new office space, and large floor plates boasting 2,000 sq m of extra amenities and services.

David Lyons, Managing Director, Vietnam, Jones Lang LaSalle. “The CornerStone Building in the heart of Hanoi is an exceptional product in the highly sought after Grade A office segment. We are delighted to work
with VIB–NGT Co., Ltd, building on our expertise in providing clients with a full suite of property management services, from building management through to asset planning.”
Commenting on the office leasing segment in Hanoi, David added: “We are seeing an increase in demand for Grade A office space, with companies upgrading and relocating on the back of competitive rents and incentives from the property owners. With 150,000 sq m of office space to be added in the second half of 2012, rents are expected to soften further. However, Grade A office buildings in the CBD will remain resilient and are expected to report healthy occupancy levels and high asking rents.”
